What Does Happiness Look Like to You?

With all of us seemingly bumbling through our busy lives, do you ever get to think about how you would define the word ‘Happiness’? What does it look like? What does it mean to you? Is happiness a state of mind, or is happiness a state of physical well-being? Can happiness be found by taking action for ourselves, or for others? Can understanding your spiritual health mean finding true happiness, or is contentment a better measure?

Answering these questions may feel seemingly impossible at times. Life gets in the way and achieving happiness may seem like an impossible feat. Your motivation sinks, you don’t seem to be making progress with hard work, and maybe you can’t seem to find a balance in life. So many factors can distract or redirect your path towards true happiness, however, these things will only hinder your potential for discovering happiness if you allow them to.

Happiness can be different things to different people. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to what makes you happy, it’s all about the perspective you take. At Vivacity, we would like to focus on the health and well-being of individuals as well as the community, and that means finding what makes you content. We seek to motivate you to become a better, healthier, and happier member of society in all areas of your life. Join the movement with us in the challenge to become genuinely healthy versions of ourselves, as we work hard to provide the right resources and ensure the motivation to keep you moving forward.

try it…

“What does happiness look like to you?”

  • Thought experiment: run it through your head, what are a few scenarios?
  • Say it out loud: sometimes you just gotta say it
  • Write it down: make a list, describe the situation in a paragraph
  • Connect with us on your thoughts: comment on our posts, come find us at events, and let’s dig into the possibilities.

When you can visualize it, you can make it happen.
